Position: Acquisition Agent      Status: Full Time               Department: Sales
Job Summary

  • B2B Outside sales. Responsible for acquiring new customers by purchasing and then upgrading their document management business. As an acquisition agent, you travel in a protected territory and meet with business owners to evaluate their current document management business. Once evaluated, the agent will determine if the potential customer qualifies. The agent then will work hand in hand with the Acquisition Manager to make the offer and acquire a new customer. Agents must exhibit strength in contacting owners by using all appropriate means and must create and establish business-to-business long-term entrepreneur relationships.

General Accountabilities

  • Buy or acquire new accounts.
  • Builds and maintains effective professional relationships with customers.
  • Contacts and visits clients to help them better understand company products and services.
  • Handles queries about company products and services.
  • Builds up detailed knowledge about the company’s products.
  • Educates business partners and end users on company products and services.

Job Qualifications

  • Education: knowledge or training of sales practices and strategies
  • Experience: 6 months to 3 years of outside sales or related sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License Vehicle insurance policy and vehicle and must have and maintain a good driving record and reliable (insured) vehicle. (Require DMV summary report)

The position involves door-to-doors sales and marketing with the ultimate goal of scheduling an appointment with business owners who qualify so they can learn more about our products and services by our acquisition agents. Compare Business Systems is looking for self-motivated and ambitious sales assistant to join our growing sales team. This is an entry-level position that will help you move to our acquisition agent position.

Position: Service Technician           Status: Full Time               Department: Service
Job Summary

  • Install, troubleshoot, service, repair and network for printing and scanning purposed of multifunctional office equipment (Kyocera, Copystar products).

General Accountabilities

  • Repairs or replace defective equipment, components and hardware.
  • Diagnoses and correct problems in products
  • Reassemble and test products
  • Provides troubleshooting and maintenance services through telephone and face to face contact.
  • Troubleshoots equipment to confirm it is performing correctly
  • Test circuits and components of malfunctioning equipment to isolate the source of malfunctions, using various hand tools.
  • Test repaired, newly installed, or updated equipment to ensure that it functions properly and conforms to specifications, using test equipment and observation.
  • Installs, connects and adjust networks and hardware for multifunctional office equipment into businesses.
  • Drive delivery trucks to and from work areas.
  • Repair or replace faulty equipment.
  • Demonstrate equipment to customers and explain how it is to be used, and respond to any inquiries or complaints.
  • Adjust or modify equipment to enhance equipment performance or to respond to customer requests.
  • Documents service actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: Two years of product knowledge/ technical education or training.
  • Minimum Experience: Two years of field experience as a technician in the copier/printer field preferably with Kyocera, Copystar.
  • Other requirements: computer repair and electronics educational degree or experience along with networking experience for printing and scanning purposes.
  • Must have and maintain a good driving record and reliable (insured) vehicle. (Require DMV summary report)
